Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship to Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam, and other U.S. territories through our regular ordering system. All other international destinations, please use our International Shipping Request Form.

What shipping methods do you offer?

We ship via UPS, USPS, truckload, rail, air, and ocean container. We work to find the best freight rate for your needs.

How quickly do you ship in-stock items?

Most in-stock items ship within 2–3 business days.

Why are shipping costs so high?

Shipping is one of the most common concerns we hear. Many of our products are large and bulky, which affects how carriers calculate rates. Even lightweight items like trays and inserts often require oversized packaging, leading to higher costs due to dimensional weight. Shipping charges also vary based on the distance from our Oregon warehouse.

For larger orders, we can often ship on a pallet, which may reduce the overall shipping cost per item and provide better value. We’re always happy to help review your options and find the most cost-effective shipping method for your needs.


Returns & Recycling

How do I clean and sterilize reusable pots and trays?

Start by washing used containers thoroughly to remove old media, roots, and debris—preferably with a pressure washer. Then disinfect them using one of the following methods:

  • Hot Water Soak:
    • For hard plastic: Soak at 165–185°F (75–85°C) for 15–30 seconds.
    • For Styrofoam: Soak at the same temperature for 30–90 seconds.
  • Bleach Solution: A 10% household bleach solution (1 part bleach to 9 parts water) can be used as an alternative for sterilization. Rinse thoroughly after use.

Avoid prolonged exposure or very hot water, which can damage containers. Many nurseries use dip tanks for efficient cleaning.

Are used containers cleaned or sterilized before resale?

Used containers are not cleaned before resale and sold in as-is condition and may contain soil, media residue, chips, or cracks.

Do you have a buy-back program for used products?

We may buy back used containers originally sold by Stuewe & Sons. Pricing depends on the item’s condition, quantity, and your location. Please contact us directly to inquire.

Can I return used containers?

Used containers are not accepted for return under our standard return policy. However, we may be able accommodate you with our buy-back program. Please contact us to discuss.

What is your return policy?

Please review our criteria for requesting returns/refunds:

  • Return within 30 days from date of delivery for a full product refund, as long as the product is unused and not damaged. You will pay the original shipping and return shipping.
  • Items returned after 30 days, if unused and free of damage, may be returned for a product refund but will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • If you receive the wrong products due to our error, we will cover return shipping and refund or replace the item at no cost to you.
